What this means is that people who have bought the tickets but would not be able to attend the event can sell these online to people who missed out. It’s a win-win situation for both the parties and ultimately, it will win brownie points for the organizing committee after much spat.

It all started when London won the bid in 2005 in Singapore by overpowering New York, Moscow and Madrid and for the third time in the history of Olympics became home ground for the Games.
