About Brighton

Brighton is located south west of England and is a part of East Suxxex. This is the most vibrant, lively, creative and fashionable county in England. There is more to the city than just the coast. It is about 50 minutes away from Central London and is a place which has everything like laid back beaches, museums, palaces, bars, cafes, shops, carnivals, etc.

This colorful city is a treasure trove of Regency architecture, pebble beach, Victorian aquarium, castles, country houses, parks, forts, gardens and much more. The Brighton Festival is the largest art festival in England with events spanning music, theatre, dance, film and literature. It is usually held in the month of May every year.

The Brighton Fringe Festival

The Brighton Fringe is the third largest fringe festival in the world. Kudos to the organizers this year in the month of May this festival will showcase 675 events at 193 venues over 3 weeks. The programs will include cabaret, classical, comedy, dance, theatre, film, literature, kid’s events, music, nightlife, tours, visual arts, workshops and free events!

Artist open house is a free visual arts festival. Brighton homes are transformed into galleries and this is a huge opportunity to see the artwork of some 1000 artists and makers in a domestic setting. Be sure not to miss out on the delicious homemade cakes.
The vitality and live scenes of the great Escape festival makes it big. It is a festival for new music where you have the opportunity to watch over 300 international and local artists in 30 different venues over a weekend. A must attend festival as apart from new bands, it also showcases medley of outdoor gigs, afternoon shows, clubs, after parties, talks and music industry seminars.

Community of Brighton

A chilled out city with spring and summer being the busiest months; it has a LGBT community and is served by shops, clubs, night life, etc. Brighton holds the Gay Pride Carnival every year in the month of August.

Brighton is packed with hip bar, cozy pub, fabulous restaurants, etc. Any type of setting or a preference for a particular cuisine, everything is available or can be arranged here.
